#IfYouCouldSeeMe: The Women Speak January 11th, 2019
On January 11th, 2019 at the Theatre Gym at Virginia Rep. Center in Richmond, Virginia the #IfYouCouldSeeMe project welcomed eight storytellers to the stage to share their brave, beautiful, heartbreaking, hilarious stories of life with a mental health diagnosis! This evening of story, music, photography, and community helped the tellers and the participants in the audience connect, deepen a sense of understanding for mental health and related issues, and to recognize that no one is immune from the possibility of a diagnosis.
Enormous gratitude to our partners: VOCAL, Rise Phoenix Rise, The McShin Foundation, Virginia Repertory Theatre, Weinstein JCC, Chrysalis Institute, Virginia Center for Inclusive Communities. The amazing partnership and photographic genius of Dean Whitbeck, the musical accompaniment of Bob Blagg.
